24 Sep 5 Ways to Grow Your Business With Instagram
By exploring and keeping an eye on relevant hashtags, you can grow your Insta-community over time by making in-app connections.
Instagram has grown so much that it is not enough to simply be on Instagram. For your account to be worth your time and effort, you need to use it well and engage your followers.
1. Share Good Content Consitently
By exploring and keeping an eye on relevant hashtags, you can grow your Insta-community over time by making in-app connections. High-quality photos do not mean that you shouldn’t put a couple of minutes of effort into making your photos look professional and eye-catching.
When you consistently share great photos and videos over time, you’ll stand out from businesses that share photos that were quickly snapped and uploaded.
2. Monitor Hashtags in Your Market
By exploring and keeping an eye on relevant hashtags, you can grow you Insta-community over time by making in-app connections.
Follow accounts of others who are in your industry, including industry leaders, similar businesses that aren’t your direct competition, or users who have shown interest in your type of content.
3. Have a Giveaway or Sale
Everyone likes FREE! By doing a giveaway or having a sale it gets other people to connect with you and spreads the word.
4. Don’t Buy Followers
My number one thing I tell my clients is DO NOT buy followers. Growing your Instagram takes time.
Sure, you can purchase thousands of followers overnight but this won’t actually help your business. There’s no purpose to having 10,000 followers if only 50 of them are actually interested in your products.
5. Promote Your Account
Don’t be afraid to promote your Instagram as you do on Facebook. Share your Instagram handle with any marketing that you do. This can be on your business card, product, website, flyers, etc. After all, if you’re working on creating an AMAZING Instagram account you better show it off!
